This Amherst Series technical model combines a large saddle-shaped seat and backrest a rugged steel base with affixed footring and proven ergonomic functionality for enhanced user comfort. Designed for benches and worksurfaces from 33” to 40” high.

Amherst Series seating is engineered for use in technical workspaces in a variety of industries.
This chair is designed for use at 33" to 40" worksurface heights. Features include a generously proportioned, saddle-shaped contoured seat with waterfall front and internal seat board bumperguard, a roomy backrest with lumbar support and plastic protective panel, and a task control with pneumatic seat-height adjustments from 21" to 28" and convenient backrest tilt and height adjustments. The seat and back are covered with Grade 2 black cloth upholstery. The chair rests on durable 23” diameter tubular steel base with affixed 21” footring and dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist movement when the chair is unoccupied. Metal parts have a black powder-coat finish.
Complies with product safety and performance standards guidelines as established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (BIFMA). Meets CAL 117 fire retardant standards. LEED® compliant.
