Amherst Series seating outfitted with critical use performance packages are engineered for use in technical workspaces in a variety of industries.
This chair features a static control/ESD performance package and is designed for use at 34" to 44" worksurface heights. Features include a generously proportioned, saddle-shaped contoured seat with waterfall front and internal seat board bumperguard, a roomy backrest with lumbar support and plastic protective panel, a 22” diameter adjustable footring, and an adjustable task control with pneumatic seat-height adjustments from 22" to 32" and convenient backrest tilt and height adjustments. The seat and back are covered with U R Grounded Grade C navy cloth upholstery. The chair rests on 28.7” diameter wide aluminum base with ESD dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist movement when the chair is unoccupied. Metal parts have a chrome finish.
Complies with product safety and performance standards guidelines as established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (BIFMA). Meets CAL 117 fire retardant standards. LEED® compliant.
